The Southwark Sinfonietta, an orchestra composed of local musicians, returns to St. John’s for their Autumn concert on Sunday 20th October. Start time 3:30pm. Conductor Rupert Bond directs the ensemble to play a short symphony by the youngest Bach son (Johann Christian) and Hummel’s showpiece variations for oboe and orchestra – featuring a talented young musician as soloist. The programme concludes with Mozart’s Prague Symphony Nr. 38.
